OVERFLOWING FRUITFULNESS Friday 3 February

Open Heavens Devotional by Pastor E.A. Adeboye

Memorise: “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” John 15:8

Read: John 15:1-8

The first command God gave to man was to be fruitful (Genesis 1:28). This is his will and it brings Him glory.

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. John 15:8

Fruitfulness is expected of you because God has already given you the capacity to be fruitful. As you win souls monthly no matter how few, He will count you worthy for pruning so that you can move to the next level of bearing more fruit (John 15:2). But that is not the end of the story. What really gladdens God’s heart is when you bring forth much fruit. How fruitful are you? This year, everything standing between you and a higher level of fruitfulness shall give way in Jesus name.

In 1 Samuel 2:21, Hannah asked God for one boy but she ended up with six children. Are you trusting God for the fruit of the womb this year? The Lord will answer your prayer in Jesus name. Beyond your request, the Lord will give you more. In like manner, when it comes to the anointing, God gives it abundantly. Paul in Acts 19:11-12, was so anointed that his handkerchiefs conducted deliverance services wherever they were sent. This shows that the anointing can overflow from the anointed to whatever comes in contact with them. I once visited one of my sons in America. In his house, I saw four women running up and down in his kitchen. At some point, I asked him how much food I was going to eat that his wife could not prepare it alone that he had to go and hire the services of four women. He smiled and said I don’t understand. When the food was ready, I ate and left. Unknown to me, those ladies were trusting God for the fruit of the womb. After I took my leave, one by one they sat on the chair I sat. Nine months later, three of them had their babies. The fourth lady had her baby three months after the others. God will so anoint you this season that whatever you touch will be anointed.

PRAYER POINT:
Pray for every couple trusting God for the fruit of the womb in your local church that by the mercies of God they will be granted their heart desires.
Bible in one year: Genesis 33-36

BENEFITS OF UNITY Sunday 27 November

Open Heavens Devotional by Pastor E.A. Adeboye MEMORIZE: “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” (Matt. 18:19) READ: Acts 2:1-4 U nity is a powerful force in the universe. However, uniting against God, His Word or His children causes God to arise in defence of His Name. This is the other side of power of unity. Barring this, unity can accomplish almost anything on the face of the earth. In Genesis 11:5-6, God said that if the people of the earth were left with one language and as united as they were in building the city and tower, they will be unstoppable. The united are unstoppable. Unity is a powerful tool for achieving plans and purposes. But if operated in righteousness within the Christian fold, it is even more powerful. “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it sha

YOUR VOICE SHALL BE HEARD Wednesday 26 October

Open Heavens Devotional by Pastor E.A. Adeboye MEMORIZE: “As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.” (Psalm 18:44). READ: Psalm 18:43-45 W hen Bartimaeus was steps away from his breakthrough, the crowd around him shouted him down. But by the grace of God, he doubled his efforts and cried out the more. He simply told the crowd: ‘If you think you have heard noise you have not heard anything yet’. The reality is that if you need help and send a faint cry in the midst of a crowd, they will want to shut you up. But if your cry is unparalleled, defying the voices of the opposition, there would be a general consensus by the crowd for you to be attended to, at least so that they can have their peace. This season, by the mercy of God, there will be a meeting of the crowd hindering your blessing and their consensus would be that you receive immediate attention. Another lesson from this story is that while peop
